Lori is the mompreneur behind Mommy Moves! Fitness classes. Owner of LS-Fitness she is a National Athletic Training Association Certified Athletic Trainer, Ultrafit Nutrition Systems Consultant, National Academy of Sports Medicine Personal Trainer andNational Association of Sports Nutrition Consultant. Among her many accomplishments, Lori was a staff Athletic Trainer at traveling with the women’s basketball team and was directly responsible for the women’s tennis team and the 2003 national championship women’s water polo team. Her focus as an Athletic Trainer has been on injury prevention, rehabilitation, and sports specific training.
When Jake Michael Sawyer was born on August 31, 2005 she wanted to stay at home with her new son, she also didn't want to end her professional career...so MOMMY-MOVES! was born! Now with 2 beautiful boys, Lori runs the Mommy-Moves program and continues to teach classes. Mommy-Moves has grown into more than just stroller classes. It has become a place where mothers can find support, friendship and playdates! Avis Austin
Avis Austin is a management psychologist and organizational consultant with over fifteen years of experience in a variety of industries. Dr. Austin has 15 publications in relevant journals and publications, and has given numerous presentations both in the US and internationally. Dr. Austin received her doctorate in counseling psychology from Stanford University. Additionally, she holds degrees in biology, electrical engineering, business organizational management, management science and engineering, and health psychology education. Outside of work, Avis serves as a hospice volunteer visiting patients and their families, sharing her expertise and experience as a two-time cancer survivor.
